San Greg is a mountain rosé, and this peculiarity is its extraordinary strength. It is produced from grapes grown at an elevation of 700 metres, in marly-calcareous and marly-sandy soils on hill slopes exposed to the sun and extremely ventilated; factors that make it particularly fresh and easy to drink.
The handpicked grapes are taken to the cellar where they are immediately pressed with a gentle pressure to obtain the noblest part of their juice. The skins remain in contact for a maximum of two hours, thus ensuring a delicate but decisive rose pink shade, very pleasing to the eye.
Thanks to the careful selection of the vineyards and collaboration with the most important French rosé wine experts, we have developed an elegant highly drinkable style, which has remained consistent over the years.
A rosé that aims for market leadership thanks to its freshness and great drinkability. A wine that, like all the Group's wines can count on excellent quality - only high-elevation vineyards, hand harvesting, considerable temperature swings - but unlike the company's other wines, wants to tell its story through new codes and drinking occasions.
