Albert Morot estate exhibits at Wine Paris 2025 for the 1st time.
The house of Albert Morot was founded in 1820.
Farmed organically over eight hectares and distinguished by ten appellations, the Albert Morot estate produces the most famous Premiers crus of the Beaune appellation, which shape this historic estate in Beaune: Bressandes, Grèves, Marconnets, Cent Vignes, Teurons, Aigrots and Toussaints.
The house also possesses the emblematic “Clos de la Bataillère”, a monopoly of about two hectares in the Savigny-Lès-Beaune 1er cru appellation, growing white and red grapes on the remarkable Vergelesses climat.
Since vintage 2023, the domaine offers also some Bourgogne Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Côte d’Or, and Auxey-Duresses white.
The philosophy of the estate is to produce pure and racy wines, highlighting the identity and typicity of each of the terroirs.
Since 2023 Pierre-Jean VILLA has been in charge of the company's destiny.
With his experience of more than 25 years in Burgundian and Rhone wines, Pierre-Jean aims to breathe new life into this mosaic of plots to produce vibrant and elegant wines for “gourmet enthusiasts” around the world. He believes that great wines can only be produced from land and fruit that is treated with respect.
The house continues to be located at the Château Albert Morot. Tasting and sales at the property by appointment only.
