DOMAINE ALÔNE, ROSÉ 2021 The Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah for this blend are grown on sandy soils at 470m. It undergoes spontaneous fermentation, with ageing taking place in different vessels: tank, porcelain jars, ceramic and eggs made with the sand from the estate. Very pale shell pink, with gentle aromas of sweet white florals, vanilla, a hint of tropical fruit, gooseberry and elderflower; these all continue on to the palate. There is a vibrant freshness and zesty acidity; breadth and structure. This is a wine that needs time to develop.
