1. A Family Story:

ALABAT was born from Simon Vignau's ambition to rejuvenate the oldest French spirit. Inspired by

the story of his great-grandfather Abel Labat, a respected Armagnac producer, Simon founded

ALABAT to reconnect with this family heritage and bring a bright and contemporary vision to

Armagnac.

2. Selection of Unique Armagnacs:

ALABAT offers an exclusive collection of vintage, single cask, and cask strength Armagnacs. Each

bottle reflects the pure essence of the terroir, capturing the unique story of each cask without any

additives. We are committed to offering exceptional products, carefully selected for their quality and

distinctive character.

3. Highlighting Craftsmanship through Art:

At ALABAT, we celebrate the craftsmanship of our partner winegrowers. Collaborating with

polycultural winegrowers who have been distilling for generations, we showcase their expertise and

passion. To honor these artisans, we work with Basque painter Anna Petrissans, who creates portraits

of our partner producers. These artworks adorn our bottles, making each one a unique piece and a

testament to the history and commitment of our models.

4. Ecological commitment :

ALABAT's mission is to enhance a terroir to better protect it. We are the first Armagnac house to

become a mission-driven company and join the 1% for the Planet network. We dedicate 1% of our

revenue to the protection and restoration of the environment.
