Child Company of CCI BOURGOGNE FRANCHE-COMTE
Albert Sounit in Rully was established in 1945.
It has been a Danish property since 1993 with Søren Nørbjerg as lead shareholder since 2022.
The local team is led by Anne Mourllion, manager, and Sébastien Sécher, winemaker.
We are farming a 16 ha vineyard and extend our range by purchasing grapes through longlasting relationships with quality wine growers. Vinification and ageing take place in our cuverie in Jully les Buxy, near the village of Montagny les Buxy.
Our annual production is around 60.000 bottles of Crémants de Bourgogne per year and 65.000 bottles of still wines exclusively from Côte Chalonnaise.
Sébastien, winemaker for 24 years, has been in charge of the vinification and maturing of the sparkling and still wines of Albert Sounit for over 10 years. Supported by his team, he aims at working with respect for the terroir and Burgundian grape varieties. Because we care about environment, we used to farm our vineyard in a sustainable way. Finally in 2022, we decided to get into organic certification.
Our latest 2023 winery extension enables us now to vinify up to 30 ha in barrels and temperature controlled stainless tanks.
Once they are bottled, our wines are stored in Rully, in our 19th century cellars.
The strength of our company is to produce both Crémant de Bourgogne and still wines, which makes us unique!
